Show Set-Up and New Fun Finds

Our next show at Lakewood Antique Market is on Friday, February 19 thru Sunday, February 21 in Cumming Ga. Lakewood is one of the top antique market shows in the nation and we are so excited to be part of such a great event.

We have relocated within the event venue and are now located in Hall H starting at the February show this month. We are looking forward to being in the new hall, which is right by the cafe. Short walk to get food!

Here’s a sneak preview of our new booth setup.

My favorite new thrifting find this month is the iron butterfly screen. It is so cute and would look lovely on someone’s deck or in their sunroom.

Hope you all can stop by and see us this month at the show!

We’d love to here from you, so please feel free to leave a comment on your favorite flea market finds.

Thrifting Finds Around Town

Once or twice a week I try to stop by the local thrift shops, Goodwill or Salvation Army Store. There are always treasures to be had! I even find some great buys on the Marketplace on Facebook. Can’t wait for the garage sales to start again in the Spring. The garage sales are my all time favorite venue to shop.

Here’s what I found this week……..and the bonus here is that on Tuesdays or Wednesdays I can get the Senior Discount. Oh Joy! Every little bit helps. Most of these items will find their way to our booth at the Lakewood Antiques Market.

Vintage Plant Stand

This yellow vintage plant stand was found at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop and is so adorable. Looks like it was originally a dark green color and then was spray painted a medium yellow shade. Which I absolutely love. It’s so perfect for showing off your plant collection. Will price at $45.

Cheers Trivet

Next up is this fun clear lucite trivet purchased at Goodwill. It is embellished with all different ways to say “Cheers” or “Celebrate” in several different languages. From German, Gaelic to French. This is one of my favorite finds and is sitting on my kitchen counter for now. Love it!

Dragonfly Canvas

My awesome find on the Marketplace is this beautiful Dragonfly Canvas, which measures 24 x 24 inches. I will be bringing this beauty up to the February show at Lakewood. It will retail for $85.00.

Everyone loves bird and butterfly prints. And these are gorgeous in person and will definitely be gracing our booth. Buyer will be able to purchase them for $90 each.

These lovely Butterfly Clips were found at a cute little gift shop on Hwy 20 in Cumming GA. I couldn’t part with them. So they are clipped to a lantern on my desk in my home office. They make me smile every time I look at them.

Money Plant & Jezebel

My Bombay Kitty, Jezebel, approves of the artificial money plant I found. I’ll be taking this to Lakewood this month and I think it will add the right amount of warmth to my booth. It will be priced at $25.

That’s all the treasures for this week! Be sure and stop by and see our new booth at the Lakewood Antiques Market in Cumming GA. The next show is Friday, February 19th – Sunday, February 21st. We moved to a new location within the building and are now located in Hall H which is right by the cafe. Booths 511 & 513.

Thanks for stopping by our blog! We’d love to hear from you on your latest treasure hunt and finds!
