Well, here we are mid February and more than halfway thru our Winter here in the South. It’s been warm up until the month of February. We’ve already had one snowstorm this month and are waiting for another one to hit this Thursday. Hopefully it won’t be too bad here in the Atlanta area. But I just had to share some photos from our last storm. I’m like a kid…..I still love it when it snows out!
We had another great month at The Lakewood Antique’s Market this past weekend. People were out shopping by the droves. We were excited to be a part of the event and just love being a dealer there too. This was our second month and it was very fun and festive! My favorite bird painting sold too! We were all in a Valentine mood last weekend at the show!
Thanks for stopping by! Do you have a favorite antique market that you like to shop at on the weekend? Would love to hear about it!
We had our first holiday paint class last weekend at the shop. And what fun the attendees had painting a gnome to fit their decor. They painted on a four foot tall / 9 inch wide piece of plywood with Dixie Belle Paints. Each person came up with a unique design of their own. Our instructor, Donna, is an expert Dixie Belle instructor and is holding another class this Saturday, Dec 14th from noon to 3 pm. You can call the shop to reserve your seat at 678-494-5800. It’s $50 a person and all supplies are included. Reservations are required for the class.
Here are a few pictures from the last class…..
So come on by and check out our shop and sign up for one of our awesome classes.
We also have a doTERRA “12 Sprays of Christmas” holiday demo on Saturday, December 14th as well. It’s from 2-4pm at the shop. You’ll love all the wonderful oils we have to show you! This event is free. We are selling $5 doTERRA room sprays at the demo.
We look forward to seeing you at the shop. There are many great gift ideas awaiting you!
Been away from my desk/office a lot as I get ready for upcoming holiday shows this month. We have three large shows in November. First one was in Cartersville, GA at the Christmas Village, second one was in Canton, GA at the Jingle Bell Shop and the third one is coming up this weekend in Marietta, GA at the Mistletoe Market.
We are excited to participate in each of them, as it brings us many new customers for our shop.
We are new to the Mistletoe Market this year. The show is planned and managed by the Junior Service League of Cobb Co and is hosted at the Cobb Civic Center in Marietta.
Here’s a few photos I wanted to share with you all from our booth at the Christmas Village in Cartersville……
This is my booth mate and friend Brenda. We do a lot of shows together and have such a great time setting it up.
The local shows are the best and I hope you can attend some in your local community this season! do you have a favorite one you like to attend each year?
