Estate Sale and Vintage Thrifting

Been out and about attending several estate sales and thrift shops this past month. Here’s a few of my favorite finds this month. The pickin was particularly good this time around. There’s nothing like a great tag sale or garage sale. That’s where I find the best bargains, along with shopping at estate sales. My favorite finds recently are the vintage salt & pepper shaker sets I purchased at an estate sale last weekend (pictured below). The owner had passed away and her daughter-in-law was running the sale. She told me that her mother-in-law had an antique shop in Conyers, Georgia several years ago and was an avid seamstress and cross stitcher. I just love to hear the stories about the family. It just makes the purchases so much more meaningful.

One of my favorite signs……..
Vintage salt & pepper shakers
Eclectic canvas decor
All kinds of vintage finds…….

Would love to hear about your vintage finds. All of the above will be available at the Lakewood 400 Antiques Market the third weekend in March. So be sure and stop by and see us in Hall H.

Happy hunting, Lynn

Show Set-Up and New Fun Finds

Our next show at Lakewood Antique Market is on Friday, February 19 thru Sunday, February 21 in Cumming Ga. Lakewood is one of the top antique market shows in the nation and we are so excited to be part of such a great event.

We have relocated within the event venue and are now located in Hall H starting at the February show this month. We are looking forward to being in the new hall, which is right by the cafe. Short walk to get food!

Here’s a sneak preview of our new booth setup.

My favorite new thrifting find this month is the iron butterfly screen. It is so cute and would look lovely on someone’s deck or in their sunroom.

Hope you all can stop by and see us this month at the show!

We’d love to here from you, so please feel free to leave a comment on your favorite flea market finds.
